Fun Facts
What book has most impacted your life?
The Bible—I believe we are put on this earth for a greater purpose, and our time together on earth is a short blip on the radar in the whole scheme of things. Living a faith-based life is paramount to me.
What people have influenced you the most?
My parents. My mom taught me integrity and to always treat people with respect. My dad, who is one of my best friends, has been instrumental in helping me lead a faith-based life and taught me to always keep an optimistic outlook.
What are your favorite holidays?
Thanksgiving and Christmas! I love Thanksgiving and being purposeful in showing gratitude. There are many mental health benefits of practicing gratitude, and Thanksgiving is an annual reminder to keep gratitude in part of our daily lives. Plus I love food—not a big sweets guy, but I love some pumpkin pie!
During Christmas, we travel to Colorado where my wife is from. It is really special to get to have a snowy white Christmas and celebrate the life of Jesus with my in laws. We usually get a day or two spent up in the mountains skiing, and my kids love playing in the snow!
What is one thing every person should add to their daily routine?
Exercise daily, even if it’s something small like a 20-minute walk. Exercise has tremendous physical and mental health benefits. I talk ‘wealth’ with folks all day everyday, but I am a big believer our biggest wealth is our health.
